Job Summary

The Operations Director oversees the daily operations of the Program, ensuring that Medical Assistance Eligibility Process and all other ElevatePFS services are delivered in a professional and focused manner, resulting in the best possible outcomes for our clients and their self-pay population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that assigned staff is fully trained and performs their job functions.
  • Ensure that all weekly and monthly reports are completed timely for the District Manager/Regional Operations Director and all client files are maintained and record statuses are accurate.
  • Interact with patients, families, physicians, and caseworkers to obtain or determine the eligibility of the patient for Federal or State assistance.
  • Ensure primary focus is on optimizing revenue for clients and ElevatePFS.
  • Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge base for County, Federal, and State administered programs.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of eligibility systems, their codes, and their relationships so that problems can be identified and resolved.
  • Ensure all agreed-upon guidelines established by the client hospital are met. Inform the District Manager/Regional Operations Director of any potential problems in a timely manner.
  • Deliver efficient, high-quality services and work with a commitment to improve services work processes and performance.
  • Work with Audit, Training, and Implementation Team Leaders and help develop any action plans necessary in appropriate facilities.
  • Maintain appropriate contact and relationships with clients. When necessary, assist in marketing as directed by the District Manager/Regional Operations Director.
  • Ensure all employee reviews are completed timely. Initiate necessary disciplinary action and reports to the Regional Manager/Dir. of Operations actions taken.
  • Report to the District Manager/Regional Operations Director on team accomplishments, achievements, and productivity. Able to manage and motivate other team members to accomplish tasks and goals.
Requirements
  • Some college and five plus years of related experience and/or training.
  • Thorough knowledge of government healthcare eligibility programs and Medicaid application and appeals process. Prior multi-entity management experience.
  • Ability to learn multiple state/federal/local program policies and procedures.
  • Ability to learn and handle multiple responsibilities; and enforce priorities set by the COO.
  • Hospital Patient Financial Services experience helpful.
  • Remote and Hybrid positions require a home internet connection that meets the company's upload and download speed criteria.
  • Local travel between client facilities is required.
