The Parts/Permitting Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, checking warranties, quoting/ordering necessary parts, processing warranties, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for pulling permits in multiple municipalities for work requiring a permit, scheduling inspections and ensuring the permit is properly handled, start to finish.

Job Duties:

- Oversee the parts that are needing to be quoted and/or ordered; including inventory control, ordering, and receiving
- Ensure accurate data entry and accuracy in parts being ordered
- Coordinate with technicians to identify parts needed for repairs and maintenance
- Research and source parts from various suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and availability
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage supplier contracts
- Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the parts department
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with part inquiries, orders, and returns
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient parts management throughout the organization
- Check warranty for parts, and properly process warranties to ensure full credit back

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive or supply chain management is a plus
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is desirable
- Proficient in computer systems and data entry
- Permitting knowledge desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in supplier management and supply chain operations is desirable
- Monitor progress of permit review
- Track permit through inspection process to advise customer of status, problems, and final approval
- Schedule inspections with customers and municipalities
- Verify completion of all required reviews, and notifies applicant of approved permit
- Knowledge of general permit processing and proceduresis desirable
- Attention to detail and customer service is essential
- Maintains confidentiality of records
- Attends work on a regular and consistent basis
- Perform other related duties as assigned by managment

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

- Vero Beach, FL 32962: Relocate before starting work (required)
