**Basic Function**:
This position is accountable for coordinating and directing maintenance work performed by the resident and non-resident contractors at the Lake Charles (LLO) Polymers Plant. This position is responsible for understanding and championing the Maintenance & Operations Workflow Process (MOWP) within his/her respective areas of responsibilities. This position holds the resident and non-resident contractors accountable for providing high quality work in the safest possible manner and in accordance with their Purchasing contract. Provides input to maintenance budget development for the area for which he/she is responsible.

**Roles & Responsibilities Cont'd**:
On boards nonresident contractors and acts as the site contractor host for such contractors
Maintains compliance documentation and archives
Reviews effectiveness of work process and procedures
Manages multiple work execution schedules and coordinates craft work assignments
Secures proper permitting as required
Monitors contractor work activities and completions
Reserves and requisitions materials and services through SAP
Coordinates shared resources plant wide

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
Ensures GoalZero performance of his/her work groups
Evaluates contractor performance in meeting cost, work quality, and scheduling requirements (GAPS documentation)
Participates in development of contract requirements and establishment of contractor responsibilities
Assures that cost effective and efficient processes are being utilized
Aligns plant wide work priorities using input for plant planners/schedulers and negotiates conflicting work requests
Applies key performance indicators for work process effectiveness
Keeps current on new technology and state-of-the-art methods
Manages the requirements of shop physical fixtures and equipment
Assists in developing work plans and schedules for shop and equipment maintenance
Manages notification and work order backlogs
Assists in determining and manage job priorities

**Min. Qualifications**:

This position requires a minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience **or **combination of technical and 5 years' experience
High School Diploma or GED is required
Supervisory skills are required and must include understanding and enforcement of all company policies
Ability to work under limited supervision and effectively manage multiple and changing priorities
Strong oral, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Be able to obtain the LYB Crane Competent certification
- Understand and utilize PSM "Management of Change" procedures
- Understand functionality of plant process equipment
- Have knowledge of multiple craft functions and repair requirements
- Have functional understanding of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and ability to use basic SAP PM functions
- Have plant logistics knowledge related to unit and equipment siting
- Understand and utilize HSE, PSM and material inventory procedures
- Have the ability to assess, measure and correct contractor performance, ability to influence and interact with management and contractors
