**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the budgets, the tracking and analysis of expenditures, and the preparation of reports for senior management. This includes supervising a small team engaged in budget maintenance and invoice processing, handling all aspects of purchasing & travel card activity, and preparing reports for senior management related to the hybrid defined benefit/defined contribution plans and stand-alone defined contribution plan created by Act 5 of 2017. You will also prepare PSERS’ annual budget report with supporting materials for our annual appropriations hearings before several committees and act as liaison with other financial offices to obtain approval for various proposals and recommendations. **Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- This position is identified as essential - level 2. It supports a critical business function and when there is a declaration of an office closing, emergency or disaster, the incumbent may be required to participate/assist in those functions to aid the business continuity process.

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 2; **or**:

- Two years of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
