Essential
**Responsibilities**:
This position would answer directly to the General Manager of the hotel. This position is responsible for daily operations of the Front Office, to maintain standards for guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction, quality assurance and asset protection while managing costs with a budget.
Assist the Front Desk by working 8 hour shifts as needed.
Control inventory and costs, specifically the marketplace on a weekly basis.
Manage guest interactions, office administration duties, vendor communications, and labor costs
Ensure that operational standards are met including Brand, City, State, and Federal.
Assist GM in the scheduling, training, and discipline for Front Desk Employees.
Ensure good safety practices of employees and guests, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures
Perform other related duties as assigned
**Minimum Qualifications (Hotel Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)**
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry
Proficient computer skills required
Ability to attract, motivate, lead, inspire and direct a talented team
Excellent communication skills, public speaking, written and oral, with the ability to customize messages to the audience (guest, team member, owner and other stakeholders)
Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment, and maintain a high level attention to detail
Outgoing individual with high energy to lead, develop, motivate and empower employees to deliver operational best practice, identify opportunities, and makes recommendations for improving efficiency, quality of service and operating standards
Will be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel which may include nights, weekends and holidays. Flexibility to work all 3 shifts.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
