**Position Summary**: The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the HR department, assisting in running payroll and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

**Duties & Responsibilities** include but are not limited to:

- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating interviews.
- Complete pre-hire employment checks (initiate Good Hire request and monitor for results)
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts through effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data entry, and other documentation.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Prepare HR-related reports and documents as needed.
- Conduct I-9 Audits and other internal audits monthly.
- Assist in the entering new employees into the payroll system (Paylocity).
- Assist in processing payroll on a weekly and biweekly basis.
- Stay informed about relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance in all HR-related activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote a positive work culture and ensure legal compliance.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting organizational goals.
- Assist in planning company events, parties, picnics, etc.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2 of experience in HR roles, with exposure to various HR functions preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and HRIS software.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential desirable.
