**What you'll bring**:

- 7+ years of sales, product (ideally API Product) business development, and creation of multimillion-dollar opportunities.
- Start-up mentality - Track record of success at early stage companies and experiencing growth to more mature large enterprises
- Confident in articulating value propositions, yet able to seamlessly drop into technical details when needed
- Creative ideation and solution development to reduce sales cycles
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to frame new, ambiguous, and complex issues; ability to generate insight through rigorous analysis.
- Deep understanding of the developer audience and empathy for their day-to-day needs with tools and technologies
- Deep understanding and knowledge of terms & conditions and legal contract issues including the ability to form and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and strategic value points and strategic trade-offs with customers and internal teams
- Excels at presentation skills with a high level of comfort presenting to senior management when appropriate
- Track record of building relationships and influencing senior executives, including C-level, across companies
- Bachelors Degree required, MBA or MS Degree a plus.
- Some travel required

**How you will lead**:

- You will own the revenue outcome - identify prospects, conduct outreach, engage customers, drive developer inputs into the product roadmap, negotiate custom terms, close early customers
- Learnings - Work in partnership and as a trusted thought leader with the product, GTM Strategy, and other leaders to inform and influence business strategies (e.g., customer problems, key product gaps, new commercial models)
- Expand the opportunity - Grow existing accounts by securing follow-on business; expand API footprint
- Work with Product Marketing and other teams to nurture business personas and grow developer engagement in your accounts
- Drive complex contract negotiations with larger enterprise organizations by collaborating closely with internal cross-functional team members
