**Job Description**:

- Provide information, education, advice, navigational services to clients on how to successfully utilize health insurance.
- Provide intake, screening and enrollment of clients to the FE-ABD program
- Develop remedies that address consumer health coverage needs, dental coverage, billing and other areas of under-insurance.
- Respond to live calls from clients, family members or providers on SACSS’ Helpline.
- Provide health insurance enrollment services, as needed.
- Maintain thorough case records of services provided, advice and/or referrals.
- Other responsibilities identified by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in public health or related field required, Masters preferred
- Knowledge of a South Asian language is preferable
- Minimum two years of experience or knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Aged/Blind/Disabled (FE-ABD) enrollment and/or public health issues is preferred
- Prior experience in working with South Asian or other immigrants is preferred
- Should be able to work as a member of a team, and to work independently

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
