**Why This Role Matters**

As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in the organization's financial health and success. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to our leadership team. Your contributions will directly impact our decision-making processes and long-term sustainability. This role is intended to be part-time, contract work for the company. You will be one of their on-call Controllers.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Managing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Researching technical accounting issues for complianceSupporting budget and forecasting activities
- Monitoring and analyzing financial performance
- Developing and maintaining internal control and effective accounting systemCoordinating the annual audit processOverseeing tax and compliance activities
- Working closely with the CFO to support overall department goals and objectives

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in a financial management role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulationsExperience with financial reporting and budgeting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
