Primary responsibilities for this position are as follows:
1. Legal Document Handling
- Use e-recording software to handle e-recording process for real estate documentation such as deeds, mortgages, land contracts, etc.
- Assemble, prepare, and send various legal document mailings to courts, clients, and third party recipients
2.
- Answer office phone and speak to clients regarding their legal needs; record phone messages and deliver messages to the appropriate attorney.
- Greet clients when they enter the office for appointments
- Assist clients with signing simple legal documents at the reception desk
- Cooperate with office receptionist to efficiently complete office tasks
3. Organization
- Manage appointment scheduling for three separate attorneys using Google Calendar
- Handle appointment rescheduling and cancellation as needed
- Manage records storage including alphabetized filing of client files and retrieving various client files from storage.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.37 - $22.13 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- No nights
- No weekends
Ability to Commute:
- Hudsonville, MI 49426 (required)
