**YOUR ROLE**

The Area Sales Manager primary mandate is to provide ongoing leadership throughout the assigned regions, ensuring all Store Managers achieve their financial goals, while operating to all Aldo Group’s policies and procedures. The Area Sales Manager ensures that all Store Managers operate efficiently and cost-effectively through the management of budgets, expenses, LP and by ensuring proper working conditions. The Area Sales Manager is responsible to train and mentor the Store Managers and for the succession and development plan within a region while upholding the core values of the company: love, Integrity, and respect.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work closely with Area Sales Managers to ensure strong management team is in place in all stores
- Ensure brand and mission is maintained throughout region
- Work closely with buying and distribution to ensure stores have the proper product to achieve targets and maximize sales in all markets
- Provide quality feedback to buying in order to ensure the stores have the right collection for the market
- Increase productivity and key performance indicators
- Ensure the VM strategy to be industry leading and also meet the needs of our customers
- Contribute to corporate goals and P&L
- Control wages, shrink, operational budgets, expenses to optimize profitability
- Seek new ways to evaluate, measure and drive performance in all areas of management
- Develop and implement new tools/programs in order to be on top of the game with our competition
- Lead and mentor the store team by providing clear direction and well-defined objectives
- Recruit and develop a strong store team to prepare for future growth opportunities
- Implement all company initiatives and training programs
- Inspire all team members to constantly strive for excellence
