**Summary Description**:
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain employee information and records using an HRIS and other HR related systems
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Assist with benefit enrollments and employee inquiries
- Conduct employee onboarding and administer safety training & development initiatives.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Assist in gathering and distributing monthly HR statistics
- Participate in the development and implementation of human resource policies
- Support with employee performance reviews
- Collaborate with HR team members to ensure compliance with laws and regulations relating to employment standards, human rights, privacy legislation and employment equity
- Facilitate the administrative aspects of fleet/vehicles, insurance and related vehicle policies and procedures.
- Support with other administrative duties where required

- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Knowledge of California State and local employment/labor laws
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving

- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- AA/AS or relevant work experience
