- Provide resource coordination to support resettlement in various new geographies
- Ensure that the day-to-day coordination of resources is streamlined and easily accessible to both staff and the participants we serve.
- Ensure case management staff are well equipped to support, connect or refer participants to beneficial resources.
- Support the tracking of data on wrap around services offered to participants.
- Collaborate regularly with staff to ensure our services are synchronized across the Virtual R&P program.
- Participate in internal and external meetings
- Conduct community resource mapping
- Identify key stakeholders, including churches, local non-profits, and service providers.
- Conduct comprehensive Community Resource Mapping based on the 9 stability factors by identifying a variety of goods and services available within the community that align with the participants' needs.
- Be a connector of relationships and information, informing other World Relief staff of relevant organizations and services in the community that will benefit clients & grow partnerships
- Assist in building a referral process for case management staff
- Liaison with San Diego Office as need develops (Priority 2)
- Facilitate communication and coordination between Virtual Resettlement Program and San Diego office
- Collaborate closely with the San Diego team to identify local resources and service providers supportive to virtual resettlement clients
- Support San Diego CCE team with community engagement efforts into the San Diego area
- Build and maintain community resource and partnerships database
- Collaborate in building a comprehensive community resource library and connecting it to technology solutions.
- Analyze resources, document overlaps and gaps, and build on what is currently available in the community.
- Provide participants with access to a wider, more inclusive, and cohesive array of resources necessary for successful initial resettlement in their new community.
- Identify resource gaps that potential church partners can provide
- Perform or synthesize existing community assessments and identify top community resource gaps
- Develop a church lead list for potential partnerships in community resource provision
- Engage in the development of a process flow for managing relationships between Virtual R&P and Churches of Welcome.
- Ensure timely communication with community volunteers and churches, when applicable, in coordination with broader support teams.
- Collaborate with the San Diego Office as needed, assist in community engagement activities, such as attending church partnership events; fund raising activities; reaching out to existing and/or new individuals and local community organizations; delivering presentations about World Relief and Virtual R&P program
- Assist in developing and sharing of appropriate community resources, and communication materials to churches, and stakeholders (on an as needed basis)
- Work with community entities to promote and support program participant needs
- Communicate regularly with service providers to ensure updated and relevant information is available to participants
- Advocate on behalf of refugee families when necessary
- Other duties as assigned

**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**:

- Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently towards role-specific, department, and office-wide goals
- Experience in community asset mapping or community outreach preferred
- Ability to speak clearly and comfortably on the phone with partners and participants, which include people with limited English abilities and/or the use of interpreters
- Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time effectively
- Proven success achieving goals and working effectively with all levels of staff in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment and ability to provide accountability to ensure objectives are met
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Previous experience working in a virtual environment preferred
