Reports to: Sr. Manager People Operations

**Compensation Range: $62,000 - $66,000 Base + Bonus**

Principal Job Duties:

- FMLA Management
- Administer FMLA leave requests, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Serve as the primary contact for employees and managers within your assigned areas of the country regarding FMLA inquiries, providing detailed guidance on eligibility, entitlements, and responsibilities.
- Workers' Compensation
- Manage the full lifecycle of Workers' Compensation claims from initial report to final resolution.
- Act as a liaison between employees, healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and legal counsel to facilitate claims processing and resolution.
- Conduct thorough accident investigations, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate future incidents.
- Onboarding:

- Ongoing training to keep managers up to date on Onboarding/New Hire requirements
- Collaborate with hiring managers and Recruitment to identify start dates
- Facilitate a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and initial training.
- Employee Relations:

- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on People Operations-related matters, providing guidance and support on workplace issues, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns, ensuring fair and thorough processes.
- Foster a positive work environment by implementing employee engagement initiatives and promoting open communication.
- Conduct and oversee termination
- Performance Management:

- Assist managers with performance management systems and processes.
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and providing constructive feedback.
- Track performance metrics and documentation, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, FLSA, ADA, and others.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Must be astute at handling multiple high priority situations and determining times lines and specific needs of each
- Deadline driven, punctual, and an over communicator
- At least 3 years of experience in a People Operations / Human Resources role, with specific experience in managing FMLA, Workers' Compensation processes, and Employee Relations
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements
- Above average knowledge of sensitive state laws governing employees, leave, and wages
- Stellar communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable with Teams and always camera-ready
