People Operations Coordinator 


Reports To: Senior People Operations Business Partner

Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt


Primary Areas of Focus

  • Process Management
  • Record Keeping and Compliance
  • Coordination


Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records, including onboarding documentation, contracts, and compliance paperwork.
  • Manage HRIS data entry and updates, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of HR reports, dashboards, and metrics.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding process, including paperwork and system access.
  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, events, and recognition programs.
  • Assist in developing and distributing internal communications, such as newsletters, policy updates, and announcements.
  • Assist the recruiter with job postings, candidate communication and interview scheduling.
  • Maintain the candidate database, ensuring timely updates and communication with applicants.
  • Lead internal communication for separating employees.
  • Support HR-related projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and training initiatives.
  • Coordinate logistics for HR events, training sessions, and meetings, including scheduling, materials preparation, and follow-up.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the resolution of employee concerns, escalating issues to the appropriate HR team member as needed.
  • Provides front desk coverage as needed, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors. Includes but is not limited to greeting clients, visitors, and guests, determining the purpose of each person’s visit and directing or escorting them to the appropriate location, answering/screening incoming calls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • This position is non-billable. Non-billable activities include company & team meetings, professional development, community involvement, innovation time, culture & engagement activities, learning, and training.


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 2 years of experience in human resource administration/people operations roles.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance for potential travel needs.

Physical Requirements

  • Required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • The position may require a visit to project sites occasionally.
  • The position requires a normal range of hearing.
  • The employee must be able to lift 20 lbs. occasionally.
  • Requires prolonged sitting with 15% of the time spent bending and reaching.
  • Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Noise levels are consistent with a standard office environment.
