**Job description**
Newburyport Area Technology Company is seeking a detailed oriented, experienced professional to join our team as the Office Administrator for our fast-growing company.
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Support/Process bi-weekly payroll using an external payroll provider
- Purchasing and Receiving /Stock and track inventory.
- Enter invoices and expenses into accounting software (E-Automate)
- Prepare check requests and vendor payments for signature
- Assist vendors with payment inquiries
- Maintain vendor contact information for new and existing vendors and contact vendors as needed
- Research and correct invoice discrepancies
- Work with Bookkeeper to help prepare monthly financial statements
- Work on special projects as needed
**Required Skills and Abilities**:
- Multi-tasker willing to take on any task; can-do attitude
- Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of accounting software
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
- Communicate in a positive and effective manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Bookkeeping and/or administrative experience and training preferred
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
