**What you bring**:

- Passion for Fine Wines: 2+ years of experience as a Sommelier in an upscale, high volume, fine dining restaurant establishment
- Certifications: Possesses recognized Sommelier certification, such as CMS, WSET, or equivalent
- Experience in High-End Dining: Proven track record curating wine lists for high-end dining establishments and/or wine bar.
- Pairing Expertise: Demonstrates expertise in creating wine pairings that complement our menu offerings and enhance the overall dining experience
- Program Management: Experienced in managing and maintaining wine storage, including inventory control, ordering, and rotation
- Guest Engagement: Strong communication skills and the ability to connect and interact with guests by providing recommendations and sharing in-depth knowledge about our wines, their regions, and production
- Exceptional Service Standards: Upholds the highest standards of service and professionalism to our guests and their dining experience
- Education and Training: Provides thorough training and education to restaurant team on wine knowledge and proper service techniques
- Collaboration with Culinary Team: Works closely with the culinary team to ensure harmonious pairing of wines with seasonal menus

**Essential Expectations**:

- Order and sell wine for the restaurant and ensure all orders placed and received are accurate
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with wine vendors and meet regularly with the wine trade to actively seek quality wines to enhance our wine program and stay current on wine and cocktail trends
- Available to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including AM, PM, & weekends
- Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment
- Stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced work environment while safely maneuvering through various areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven, or slick surfaces
- Able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a calm, professional manner in a busy, stressful environment
