**USAI Lighting LLC**, a recognized leader in the lighting industry, which offers the widest selection of specification grade down lights with an emphasis on quality, innovation and performance. We are a 75 year old privately held company located in the heart of the picturesque Hudson Valley, in New Windsor, New York (90 minutes North of New York City).

We are looking for an engineering project coordinator and tradeshow coordinator with just the right blend of organization, creativity and project skills for our Engineering team.

**Position Summary**: Will be responsible for the team’s project tracking and the overall production and post-production calendars. The individual will work closely with the engineering, product management team across communications and deliver accurate updates internally and externally.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management or similar fields
- This is an entry level role for someone interested in product development.
- Organizational and project coordination skills with an ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and follow up skills
- Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

**Responsibilities**
- In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering’s team’s project tracking and the overall production and post-production calendars.
- The individual will work closely with the product manager, and engineering team to communicate and deliver accurate updates both internal and external to the engineering team.
- Assist in all on-going product developments, especially new product development.
- Assist in collecting meeting minutes, time and action information to ensure adherence to the product development calendar.
- Maintain and improve documentation process.
- Make recommendations to improve overall engineering operations and procedures.
- Maintain the Product Development timeline to include all appropriate dates while updating for product series accuracy.
- Follow up with suppliers as needed during the entire design process
- Communicate with all related departments to ensure product details are up to date.
- Direct and track modification requests.
- Develop and maintain product development dashboard.
- Responsible for UL coordination of new products
- Responsible for IES file generation utilizing our equipment.
- Work with suppliers to ensure launch date is on schedule.
- Manage trade show schedule to ensure displays are ready to arrive on time.
- Review and complete all trade show documentation.
- Coordinate trade show display shipping
- Meet with sales and marketing to discuss trade show booths and changes
- Use CAD and work with engineering team to design and propose new booth changes
- Responsible for all booth displays and coordination to ensure booth is ready for trade shows
- Travel to trade shows to ensure booth is ready for show.
