As a key player in our engineering team, you will oversee intricate and multifaceted engineering initiatives from conception through execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage complex engineering projects across various disciplines, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost-effectiveness.
- Act as a subject matter expert, assessing and implementing standard engineering practices to address challenges.
- Organize, plan, and supervise all stages of engineering activities.
- Provide expert guidance to fellow engineers, evaluating technological advancements and exploring the viability of new tools and methodologies.
- Mentor and develop engineers, technical staff, and other professionals.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in an engineering role managing technical projects.
Work Environment:
You will work in a general office setting, which may involve standing, sitting, and walking as required. Proficiency in computer use is essential, with a focus on desk work. When visiting manufacturing sites, appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Professional Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Access.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on collaboration.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively and prioritizing a high volume of work.
