Position Overview:
Rise Yoga is seeking a passionate and experienced **Christian **Faith-Based Yoga/Cardio Class Teacher to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Design and lead faith-based yoga and/or cardio classes that integrate elements of physical exercise, mindfulness, and spiritual reflection.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that fosters spiritual growth, connection, and personal transformation.
- Provide personalized instruction and modifications to accommodate students of all fitness levels and faith backgrounds.
- Incorporate scripture, prayer, meditation, and other faith-based elements into class sessions to enhance the spiritual experience of participants.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in both fitness instruction and faith-based wellness.
- Cultivate a supportive and uplifting community within the studio, fostering connections and relationships among students and staff.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement special events, workshops, and programs related to faith-based wellness.
Qualifications:
- Certified yoga instructor with a recognized faith-based certification (e.g., YogaFaith, Revelation Wellness, etc.), or willingness to obtain certification with support from Rise Yoga.
- Experience teaching yoga and/or cardio classes, preferably in a faith-based or holistic wellness setting.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and proper alignment principles.
- Passion for holistic wellness and spiritual growth, with a genuine desire to support others on their wellness journey.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect authentically with students and create a supportive community atmosphere.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth, including participation in continuing education opportunities related to yoga, fitness, and faith-based wellness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays, to accommodate class schedules and special events.
