**Position Overview**:
This works to ensure that Governors Gun Club follows all Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) requirements for the sale, storage, and handling of all firearms.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Works in conjunction with Sales and Receiving departments to ensure all ATF requirements for the intake, special orders, disposition activities, alone with gunsmithing activities, are in compliance.
- Oversees the Point of Sales (POS) system and ATF A & D bound book.
- Develop procedures for Sales to meet compliance of ATF Form 4473 is accounted for all firearms.
- Monitor Federal and State ATF regulations and make recommendations on system and procedures.
- Promotes organization in industry, manufacturing or trade associations.
- Coordinate with all department inventory system controls.
- Track and account for all firearm and NFA serialized items coming into the clubs.
- Works with departments to develop and enforce effective methods of control for regulated items.
- Directs inventory movements or transfers; coordinates inventory transfer with related departments.

**Administration and Management**

Manage daily business functions and operations while supervising employees; Highly involved in strategic planning, team leading, and people coordination. Act as trusted advisor to subordinate managers on operational, service driven and merchandising initiatives.

**Managing People**

Manage personnel, conduct training, build relationships with members, motivating, developing, and directing people as they work. Highly skilled team builder.

**Organizational Skills**

Efficient time management including planning, scheduling and delegating. Create and implement improved workflow processes to expedite and enhance services, eliminate redundancy.

**Sales and Marketing**

Knowledgeable in principles and methods of merchandising, promoting, and selling products or services; including marketing strategy and tactics, seasonality, inventory management, and logistics.

**Communications**

Motivates and energizes team members to achieve goals, resolves interpersonal conflicts, creates positive learning environment. Effective written and oral communications including ability to address large groups including company associates, suppliers and executives.

**Customer Service**

Exceedingly sociable and able to put members and visitors at ease. Ability to negotiate and persuade to achieve desired results. Consistently increased sales during peak customer traffic through reinforcement of expectations regarding world class service delivery.

**Experience**

3-5 years’ experience in ATF compliance requirements, preferred.

**Education**

Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, criminal justice, or related field, preferred.

**Physical Requirements**

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Vision
- must be able to see with or without corrective lenses. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

**Availability**

Ability to work an open schedule, including evenings, holidays and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of GGC. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
