Senior Vice President, Sales

**Your role and responsibilities**:

- In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (global/regional) to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization.
- The work model for the role is: #LI-Remote
- This role is contributing to the Packaging/Motion/Systems Drive in Mid-Atlantic region. Main stakeholders are Channel Partner.
- You will be mainly accountable for:

- Create channel programs to drive US business growth via industrial channel partners and systems integrators
- Ownership of the US system drives channel policy framework, providing structure and consistency in go to market strategy and practices (approved by legal and compliance teams)
- Maintain channel programs and documents including marketing development funds, business plan tools, system integrator, eCommerce, point of sale and stocking programs
- Lead annual distributor classification process with channel management team

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Bachelor's degree required with minimum 10 years of relevant experience within a complex business environment
- Must have prior direct customer and channel leadership experience
- Experience preparing executive presentations and presenting at the VP level
- Channel strategic planning and design
- Experience with Sales Force and Power BI tools to manage channel behavior
