**TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION**
The Registrar of Voters Office conducts elections for San Diego County. Major elections for President, State Offices, School Boards, Special Districts, and Cities are held in even years. Some special elections are held in odd years.JOB DESCRIPTIONS and Skills/Abilities:
- Computer skills in Windows environment
- Telephone/Customer Service Skills
- Work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Follow established policies and procedures
- Follow chain of command
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to handle difficult customers
- Attention to detail
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Able to work overtime, often with little or no advance notice
- File alphabetically and chronological order
- Basic use of office equipment
- Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
**Additional Requirements/Information**:
**While preparing for an election, there is extensive overtime required, often with little or no advanced warning. Vacations and time off during an election cycle is not allowed. This position will begin July 2024 and end in November 2024.**
**Regular working hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p**.**m.**
**Please note: Will be required to work extended hours and weekends when needed.**
