Job Overview:
The essential functions of the job for a N.J. _Licensed Home Administrator_ requires, and may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of Windsor Health Care, LLC to include, but are not limited to the following:

- Must be a licensed Nursing Home Administrator according to New Jersey State Regulations and must attend continuing education as required.
- Comply with standards of business conduct in accordance with federal, state and local health and regulatory standards and guidelines, as applicable.
- Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED or at least two (2) years of experience in the healthcare field and/or related industry.
- Must be able to work well with peers in a congenial work environment, and above all, maintain the utmost compassion and dignity to the residents and adhere to the Resident Bill of Rights.
- Must be able to work beyond normal working hours; on weekends, as well as holidays, to the extent necessary. On-call status is a function of the job and employee understands, agrees to, and acknowledges that schedule flexibility is for the betterment of the residents and that the _Administrator_ will make themselves available, as needed, to ensure proper staffing levels.

responsibilities/accountabilities:

- Implements Windsor Healthcare, LLC objectives as determined and directed by the governing body;
- Interprets personnel practices within policy guidelines and recommends changes as necessary;
- Meets with licensing authorities as required and accompanies them throughout any survey of the facility;
- Authorizes purchases of supplies and equipment within budgetary guidelines established by the governing body;
- Promotes favorable public relations and represents the facility in community as required;
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with residents, relatives, and employees;
- Serves as consultant on admission and discharge of residents;
- Concerns his/herself with the safety of all nursing facility residents in order to minimize the potential for fire and accidents. Also, ensures that the facility adheres to the legal, safety, health, fire and sanitation codes by being familiar with his/her role in carrying out the facility’s fire, safety and disaster plans and by being familiar with current MSDS;
- Overseesand guides department managers in the development and use of departmental policies and procedures;
- Reviews and evaluates the work performance of assigned personnel as well as counsel/discipline assigned personnel according to established company personnel policy;
- Conducts committee meetings such as Patient Care, Policy Committee, Infection Control, Pharmaceutical, Services, Comprehensive Care, etc;
- Interviews and hires consultants, department heads and other staff positions within the facility as necessary;
- Confers with consultants to various departments concerning problem areas and available solutions; follows through on quarterly reports from consultants;
- Monitors financial reports and information of the facility and reports to the governing body; implements corrective action and budgetary constraints as required;
- Oversees and assists in the preparation of annual budgets for each department;
- Implements facility objectives as determined and directed by the governing body;
- Superintends physical operations of the facility;
- Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights;
- Report any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and or hazardous chemicals in accordance with facility policy;
- Report work related injuries and illnesses immediately to your supervisor;
- As a condition of employment, complete all assigned training and skills competency;
- Participate in all life safety and emergency drills and trainings;
- Fulfill responsibilities as assigned during implementation or activation of the facility’s emergency plan;
- Assists with evacuation of residents in an emergency situation;
- Maintain confidentiality of Protected Health Information, including verbal, written and electronic communications;
- Report non-compliance with policies, procedures, regulations or breaches in confidentiality to appropriate personnel;
- Protect residents from abuse, and cooperate with all investigations;
- Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, misappropriation of property, exploitation, or mistreatment of residents to supervisor and/or
