- Processing Medicaid claims using NJMMIS
- Submitting CMS 1500 forms for reimbursement
- Resolving claim issues and denials
- Ensuring compliance with Medicaid regulations and guidelines
- Working with the billing team to ensure accurate and timely billing

**Key Requirements**:* Billing experience in an outpatient substance abuse or mental health facility is preferred, but doctor's office or hospital billing experience will also be considered. Front office experience would also be preferred but not required.**

- NJMMIS
- NJ MEDICAID BILLING
- CLAIM RESOLUTIONS

**Qualifications and Skills**:*
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Independent worker
- One or more years of experience in a community/home health services agency is strongly preferred.
- Must have outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Must have outstanding organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the Social Services for the Developmentally Disabled.
- Must be willing to make professional outgoing and incoming calls.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must consent to and pass a formal background check including fingerprinting.
- Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) applicants are welcome to apply

**Experience**:

- Providing services to children and/ or youth with developmental delays: 2 years
- Office work: 2-3 years.

**Education**:

- High School or equivalent with at least 3 years of related experience.
- Associates degree (preferred) or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience.

**This position is temp to hire. After successful completion of 90 days of employment, an offer for full-time employment will be extended.**

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
