The overall responsibilities of the **Program Director (Community Residence)** include assisting the Administrator of the Community

Residences with the management and operation of OMH funded programs across three residences and the

Apartment Treatment Program. The Director oversees the operations of all departments to assure that they follow

agency procedures and operates in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements. The Program Director performs all

tasks and duties delegated by the Administrator. **The salary range is $65-75K, depending on experience.**

**KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
***
- Confers with and assists the Administrator in the everyday management of the residences.
- Administers leadership and direction of issues that have impact on the operation of the residence.
- Has direct oversight and supervision of Community Residence Staff.
- Discusses the implementation of policies and procedures noting deficiencies, needed changes and amendments.
- Monitors and makes program evaluations and reports results to Administrator.
- Oversee and prepares program reports.
- Supervise the administrative operations of the residence addressing and implementing incident reporting requirements established by regulatory agencies and Acacia Network.
- Assists with evaluation, counseling, discipline and generally insures that community residence staff are performing satisfactorily.
- Ensure daily residence documentation is maintained accurately and consistent with OMH standards.
- Participates in quality assurance review and investigation process.
- Interviews and hire personnel to fill vacant positions and assists with the recruitment of and makes recommendations on community residence and administrative staff needs
- Reviews the performance of and makes determinations on the effectiveness of program development.
- Assists with the establishment of management systems to insure the effective delivery of service
- Leads staff developmental meetings
- Oversee professional staff development through supervision and engages staff in progressive disciplinary process.
- Attends Acacia departmental and development meetings.
- Partner with Acacia network and its divisions.
- Direct care coordination through monitoring of resident progress.
- Participates and support the operations of admissions, discharges and census management within the residences.
- Determines and contacts agencies which might be utilized for referrals.
- All other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Masters Degree in the human service field. Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) or eligible for credentials within 6 months of hire or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) preferred.
- At least 5 years experience in social services and some supervisory experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Highly organized, motivated self-starter. Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to organize and maintain detailed records; complete necessary paperwork and meet deadlines.
- General knowledge of organization, community and/or social service resources and programs.
- Ability to respond to after hour calls for program management and building emergencies.
- Must be able to travel within community residences as needs arise.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends as needed.
