BronxWorks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our programs and services.
Key Responsibilities- Program Support: Provide direct support to program staff, including maintaining case records and statistics, and assisting with program development and implementation.
- Leadership and Management: Assist the Program Director in recruiting, training, and supervising direct service staff, as well as administering personnel policies and procedures.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain regular communication with contract managers, funding sources, and other stakeholders to ensure program goals and objectives are met.
- Program Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor program progress, analyze data, and make recommendations for improvement to ensure programs meet contractual goals and reporting requirements.
- Financial Management: Assist with budget planning, fiscal management, and financial reporting to ensure program financial stability.
- Staff Development and Support: Provide ongoing training and support to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality programs and services.
- Community Engagement: Act as a liaison with the community, including the area community district, to build relationships and promote BronxWorks programs and services.
- Education: Master's degree in social work or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of program management experience, with a proven track record of success in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, clients, and community partners.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other standard business technology.
