Max's Catering & Events, is known for providing upscale catering at various events at the Bushnell, Basketball Hall of Fame, Rosedale Farms and our newest addition, Haynes Street, just to name a few. The events range from casual, fine dining and even black tie. Whether within the restaurant or out at the farm, we strive to provide a memorable unique style dining with quality ingredients and white glove service by our staff. We seek highly detailed & professional event managers to assist in managing of our catered events. Event managers are required to provide a high level of hospitality from start to finish, ensuring an effortless and successful event for our guests. Ability to schedule and manage event staff is key for this position, while being able to perform alongside the staff during peak times if needed.

*Manage the operations of assigned events from start to finish ensuring details are met and client is happy

*Properly time meal service to meet the expectations of our client and their guests

*Monitor food quality and presentation, bringing related food issues to the attention of the Chef/Sous Chef on duty.

*Schedule staff and manage their time effectively ensuring they are following proper procedures

*Participation in weekly inventory updates and meetings

*Be actively involved in the management of labor and liquor costs by investigating overtime, product variances and resolving any issues

*Maintaining accurate sales reporting through POS maintenance system

*Accurate cash accounting and daily bank-drops

*Assist in the deployment and the management of all company policy changes

*On-going product knowledge and the development of the knowledge of the employees of Max’s Catering Continual, responsible procurement and supply of products required to maintain continuity of the highest level of service

*Will work various hours depending on the event schedule
