Job Purpose
As the Talent Acquisition Sr Strategic Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in understanding and shaping talent acquisition strategies to meet future business demands as we work towards our 2030 vision for electrification and software defined mobility.
Your expertise will drive our recruitment initiatives, foster stakeholder collaboration, and enhance our overall talent ecosystem.


Key Accountabilities
Program Design & Delivery:

  • Lead the proposal, design, and implementation of unique Recruitment programs/initiatives that align with Honda's organizational goals.
  • Develop and refine recruitment policies and procedures to optimize hiring processes.
  • Collaborate with TA Units, HR Technology, IT, and other business areas to align technical capabilities with current and future recruitment needs.

Market Research & Data Analysis:

  • Stay informed about recruitment best practices, emerging technologies, and business priorities.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights for recruitment teams.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources (ATS, social media, Survey tools, CRM, HRIS) to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Evaluate job posting site performance, utilization, and experience survey results.
  • Recommend metrics and reporting enhancements for better storytelling and data visualization.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Maintain feedback channels with recruitment teams and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and prioritize areas for process improvement based on stakeholder input and ROI.

Strategic Partnerships:

  • Partner with HR CoE teams, Workforce planning, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Organizational Effectiveness, and other Business functions
  • Understand critical insights related to candidate, manager, and associate persona's.
  • Issue Resolution:
  • Address complex escalated issues related to talent acquisition processes.


Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment marketing
  • 3+ years of experience performing thorough analysis of recruitment data to drive decision making
  • 2+ years (or relevant experience) of large project management
  • Experience in manufacturing, technology or automotive lines of business considered a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate organizational goals into actionable recommendations/initiatives
  • Proficient in using advanced assessment tools, analytics, and metrics to drive strategic decisions
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and inspire at all levels of the organization
