Our client, a health care company is seeking a Benefits Manager. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years Human Resources/Benefits management experience, and minimum of 2 years of Supervisory experience which will align successfully in the organization.
Position Benefits Manager
Schedule-M-Fri 830AM-430PM
Pay Rate- $28.00-$30.00/hr., based on experience
Duration-several months, possible longer, medical leave coverage
What's in it for you?

- Manage the design, modification, development and implementation of all benefit plans and programs.
- Oversee retirement plan changes by both employee and organization.
- Monitor and process HRA, HSA and FSA accounts for accuracy
- Administer health and welfare plans including enrollments and terminations.
- Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
- Manage annual open enrollment process each year. Includes meeting with carriers and brokers to discuss offerings.
- Process monthly billings from insurance providers. Reviews. billings for accuracy.
- Resolve discrepancies with carriers, payroll and employees.
- Act as a resource for payroll/HR contacts to ensure their understanding and compliance with benefit and HR policies and regulations.
- Keep upper management advised of potential problem areas and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate.
- Maintain Human Resource Information System records and compile reports from the database as needed as related to benefits.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for benefit administration and HRIS systems
