The Account Director, Client Partnership is responsible for client success and growth across a group of clients. The AD is accountable for the overall partnership between Ansira and the clients in their portfolio, working closely with the Client Engagement team who are accountable for managing existing scope/account planning and delivery of the same portfolio of clients. This person brings together the right team of subject matter experts to drive account sales growth that expands our footprint and influences the client's strategy through knowledge, innovation, and thought leadership. A successful AD possesses strong leadership and creative problem-solving skills and identifies solutions that solve client challenges. The AD reports to the VP, Client Partnership.
What you will do:

  • Accountable for managing a client portfolio that delivers $2M - $5M annually
  • Accountable for identifying and managing the sales cycle for growth opportunities across owned accounts
  • Accountable for achieving revenue goals for accounts
  • Responsible for managing account forecasting, scoping/billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Responsible for identifying and converting growth opportunities aligned with revenue growth goals
  • Strong understanding of the client's business, their context within the industry and competitive position, and how Ansira's work has an impact
  • Understand the capabilities of all agency departments in order to effectively lead the Ansira team to identify, pitch, and convert sales opportunities
  • Accountable for ensuring the team working on their portfolio understand client goals in order to meet and exceed expectations and is a participant in internal and external ideation and brainstorming sessions
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of delivery across Ansira's competency areas. Leverages this knowledge to build and fit into a client's digital transformation agenda
  • Help ensure the right team is in place to meet client account growth goals
  • Collaborates with Client Engagement in escalating red flags for current projects and ongoing work to Sr. Leadership and SMEs and developing the plan for resolution.
  • Assists with gathering information for marketing proposals and other decks presented internally and externally
  • Manage monthly billing procedures; communicate any budget variances to clients and close any gaps. Manage accounts receivable process for past due accounts
Background and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Marketing or related field
  • 7+ years in an agency account management role
  • A "confident leader"; comfortable speaking from a position of knowledge with clients and industry leaders. Strong storytelling ability is fundamental for this role
  • Experience in consultative selling and/or delivering marketing solutions for enterprise brands
  • Proven track record in cultivating senior client relationships
  • Track record of growing accounts and supporting new business
  • Excellent client-facing and presentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and organized
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, One Drive)
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Fast paced, multi-tasking, assertive, ability to switch gears quickly, adaptable nature required; Solution-oriented and resolution focused
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management, fellow team members, and all internal clients with a high degree of professionalism; strong written and verbal communication skills
