Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

At the United States Soccer Federation, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will provide strategic and administrative support to our Chief Marketing Officer and contribute to the development of our marketing campaigns.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating the CMO's domestic and international business travel arrangements, managing calendars, and booking meetings. You will also be responsible for distributing marketing materials, planning quarterly events, and supporting the Director of Fan Engagement and team for match day operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in weekly Marketing Leads meetings to provide top-line updates and summaries to the group.
  • Support annual strategic planning and quarterly business review processes, both internally and with the agency.
  • Maintain and coordinate the CMO's domestic and international business travel arrangements, including accommodations, transportation, and reservations.
  • Manage calendars and book meetings, taking into account dependencies between meetings.
  • Distribute marketing materials as required, such as brand guidelines, match day graphics, and heritage month plans.
  • Proactively plan out each quarter, including match day, key events, and USSF business cycle, to ensure all documents are prepared in advance.
  • Support the Director of Fan Engagement and team for match day operations as required.
  • Proactively ensure tasks are being followed up and executed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare the CMO's expense report and manage department invoices.
  • Support other Marketing Leads as designated by the Chief Marketing Officer.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree with an excellent record of academic and managerial or professional achievement.
  • Passion for and experience with extra-curricular activities that demonstrate leadership, excellence, commitment, and other important intangible skills.
  • Strong, clear, articulate communication and writing skills, with the ability to conceptualize and communicate complex ideas easily.
  • Extraordinary attention and commitment to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to evaluate, prioritize, balance, and easily switch between multiple tasks or needs.
  • Professional presence and demonstrated interpersonal skills to work with people from all backgrounds and in all settings.
  • Strong time-management skills, with the ability for quick responsiveness.
  • Demonstrated fluency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, CRM/Salesforce, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends, and travel if and as needed.
  • Good team player, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
