How You Will Make a Difference

As we expand our services in new and existing markets, we're looking for a Clinical Resource Specialist who shares our values of being Trustworthy, Capable, Compassionate, Proactive, and most importantly, called to serve. The Clinical Resource Specialist makes an impact by ensuring all patient diagnoses are assigned proper ICD codes and compliant in accordance with state, federal, and local regulations. In this position you are responsible for clinical review of OASIS and The plan of care review.

As the Clinical Resource Specialist, you will:
• Collaborate with frontline caregivers and branch leadership on documentation submitted and make recommendations for changes to ensure accuracy
• Complete workflow tasks and other assignments in the EMR system
• Edit and lock OASIS to assist in timely billing submission
• Assign diagnosis, codes according to coding guidelines and conventions.
• Assure the development, implementation, and updates of the individualized plan of care in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team

Skills for Success:
• Working knowledge of Medicare payment and reimbursement guidelines
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Computer skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology and home health coding
• Dependable, punctual, and ability to maintain a positive attitude
• Knowledge of OASIS E and Coding conventions a must

Experience to Deliver on our Mission:
• Must be a Registered Nurse with a current RN License, valid state driver's license, and reliable transportation
• Minimum of five years working as a Registered Nurse in home health
