Role Summary:
Product: 3C Patch System – a fully autologous three-layer patch that employs the patient's living cells to facilitate wound healing.
Responsibilities: The Clinical Specialist will engage with clinicians and providers in the wound care sector, reporting directly to the Clinical Director. This role requires a clinical background (Clinical Degree or Diploma such as RN, BSN, or PT is preferred). The company is actively developing a robust body of clinical research surrounding an innovative autologous wound care therapy designed to enhance wound healing. This therapy utilizes the patient's own blood cells to create a patch composed of leukocytes, platelets, and fibrin. Previous wound care certifications are advantageous.
Work Environment:
- Primarily remote, with the requirement to travel to various customer locations, organizational events, sales meetings, training sessions, and conferences.
- Travel expectations range from 40-60%, depending on geographical location.
Qualifications:
- A Clinical Degree (RN, BSN, or PT preferred) is essential.
- Prior experience in wound care is highly desirable.
- Minimum of three years of direct patient care experience in a clinical environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, video conferencing tools, and email.
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment in professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- In-depth clinical knowledge of wound care, with the capability to effectively educate and train both clinical and non-clinical staff in individual and group settings.
- Outstanding communication skills, enabling effective interaction at all organizational levels and proficient presentation of information in various group sizes.
- Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and communication efforts.
- Efficient organization and management of workload while traveling.
- Assessment of wound healing progress for patients undergoing therapy.
- Identification of new patients and coordination of therapy with designated providers and clinical directors.
