About the role:

The District Manager is a sales, brand, and culture leader for a multi-store territory. Their primary responsibility is to ensure strong performance across all stores and maximize profitability for their district. They lead store teams to consistently deliver a positive customer journey, resulting in strong conversion and high customer loyalty. The ideal candidate embraces the company's dedication to mental fitness, and strives to incorporate that message into both the employee and customer experience.

What you'll do:

  • Lead district to ensure all store-level deliverables and metrics are met
  • Train and manage District and Store level P&L devising strategies on controllable expenses
  • Identify opportunities and create district-level strategies to align with company and business objectives
  • Assess local market and business insights to share with broader leadership team; adapt strategy based on findings
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and retain a team of best-in-class store managers
  • Support diversity, encourage dialogue, and welcome different points of view
  • Handle all employee relations issues, taking partnership with the People and Culture team when appropriate
  • Liaise with Retail Marketing Manager to support community outreach and instore event efforts
  • Ensure store teams are trained ad product knowledge experts ensuring they are able to speak to the features and benefits of Rhone products
  • Support Store Managers in upholding operational excellence
  • Trickle down relevant brand and business updates to stores on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with Store Managers and Human Resources to maintain compliance with local labor requirements
  • Ensure highest level of visual standards are achieved and that stores are up to date with all current directives
  • Work with the Director of Stores and cross-functional partners to ensure assortment and inventory are optimized by location
  • Collaborate with Retail leadership team as needed to support stores
  • Open to additional projects and tasks as deemed necessary
What you'll bring:
  • 4+ years of multi-store leadership experience with proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • Experience in an apparel setting, preferably performance lifestyle and/or activewear preferred
  • Proficiency in analyzing data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • A positive and optimistic attitude
  • Proficient in Google suite of products including Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • Working knowledge of Point of Sale, inventory management, and labor scheduling systems
  • Ability to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends as needed
