Your role at Sephora:
As a District Loss Prevention Manager, you will be responsible for implementing programs to protect the companyâs assets and ensure the safety of employees and clients in their assigned locations. Reporting to the Regional Loss Prevention Manager, you will hire, train and manage Store LP Investigators in their assigned locations.
In addition, you will:
- Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies to reduce all shrink related factors, paying special attention to the High-Risk stores. Analyze loss prevention activities and shrink performance to identify areas in need of improvement. Partner with store and regional management to identify and resolve shrink problems with appropriate action plans.
- Administer and implement store audits and training programs for cast members on shrink and loss prevention, including methods to deter and handle shoplifting and internal theft. Timely completion of all scheduled store audits and cast member-training sessions in all the assigned stores.
- Ensure store compliance, by management and cast, with all loss prevention and operational procedures established to protect company assets. Investigate all discrepancies, indications of dishonesty, fraud or criminal acts, in accordance with established procedures. Utilize exception based reporting system to cultivate cases. Interview internal employees and cultivate admissions based on company guidelines. Where appropriate, develop investigative cases with a view to criminal prosecution. Partner in all such cases with the Regional Loss Prevention Manager, a Manager or Director of Human Resources or the Senior Vice President Human Resources before Police intervention.
- Directly responsible to ensure that all store loss prevention systems and programs are fully operational, being regularly maintained, and properly utilized, including CCTV, alarms, locks, etc.
- Hire, develop and manage Store Loss Prevention Investigators, and recruit new store investigations staff for stores in the assigned areas.
- Cultivate effective liaison relationships with other retailers, industry groups, police departments, and mall security/ property management teams.

Weâre excited about you if you have:
- Minimum 3 years of asset protection/loss prevention experience in multi-unit retail environments.
Ability to develop plans, policies or procedures in a clear and concise manner.Able to travel routinely. Travel requirement is approximately 60% of the job and includes overnight local and out of town travel locations. This travel requirement includes attendance to Sephora Loss Prevention conferences and meetings.Analytical skills and proficiency with computer technology including loss prevention applications, MSOffice and retail store systems.Strong interviewing skills to include Wicklander-Zulawski certification or other formal behavioral interview training.Able to work in a fragrance filled environment
The annual base salary range for this position is $102,765.00 - $114,855.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicantâs qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
