We Support Care Givers and Protect Patients

The Receiving Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the receiving operations within the organization's distribution center. They are responsible for leading a team of receiving associates, ensuring efficient receipt, inspection, and processing of inbound shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Working hours for this role are 1st shift; 6:00am - 1:00pm, Monday - Friday. Weekends as needed.

Essential responsibilities of the Receiving Supervisor are:
  • Ensuring the team has necessary equipment to work safely
  • Inventory control
  • Day-to-day operations of shipping including labor scheduling, proper utilization of space and equipment and quality.
  • Hiring, leading, coaching and managing Order Fulfillment Associates
  • Encouraging the team to share continuous improvement opportunities, and coaching through implementation.
  • Compilation of daily measurements/metrics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.S. in Materials Management, Logistics, or related) or equivalent knowledge/experience.
  • At least 5+ years of Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving, and Inventory related experience in a distribution environment.
  • Proven supervisory experience or aptitude which includes having strong management, leadership, coaching, organizational and motivational skills.
