SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing inbound and outbound communications between Architects, Engineers, Contractors and NileBuilt staff for project workflow. It includessubmittals and information exchanges under identified deadlines meeting project and production schedules for the layout, design, and project scope of a patent-pending, high performance, structural, cementitious fiber reinforced compositebuilding system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow direction provided by the appointed Supervisor.
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to, and enforcing, all safety procedures and policies inside and outside the facility, including use of personal protective and NileBuilt equipment as required. Maintain a clean work area utilizing daily organizational skills.
Represent NileBuilt in a positive manner both internally and externally while adhering to the organizations core values.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
Responsibilities include sourcing vendors, sub-contractors, products, material pricing, and project estimating.
Communicating project scope and details with Owners, General Contractors, Sub-Contracted Engineering personnel, and Project Managers as required.
Utilize an effective filing system for projects.
Identify and implement more efficient processes to daily duties.
Provide continuous follow up with all project stakeholders to ensure information exchange is streamlined for on-time project completion.
Support other departments and team members as necessary: production scheduling, warehouse, and construction sites.
Review potential project locations and drawings for communicating with necessary parties on constructability, material needs, quantities, and specifications.
Responsible for verification of jobs in the field for accurate measurements and communication with Project Managers and/or Subcontractors.
Responsible for working with appropriate NileBuilt Manager(s) to create and integrate more efficient processes of material sourcing, warehouse storage, fabricating, and delivery.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
3 to 5 years Project Management experience required, with residential construction background preferred.
A Bachelor or Associate Degree in Construction Management or equivalent is required.
Proficient computer skills including Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office suite of programs typical email applications; Adobe PDF and Microsoft Project Manager (or equivalent) is beneficial.
Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communication.
Proven experience in software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or other 3D modeling software preferred.
Self-motivated and the ability to work on goal driven projects.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to analyze situations and exercise discretion in resolution.
Demonstrated ability in reading and understanding blueprints.
Understanding the importance timelines for meeting project schedules.
Ability to make proposals to Senior Management through clear and concise written and verbal communications.
The position requires being physically located in/around NileBuilts Irvine, California, offices, but some travel will be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position is not physically demanding. The employee is often sitting while performing the duties of the position. Walking or standing is required, with the need to occasionally visit jobsites with uneven terrain and potential obstacles for field measurements. The hands are regularly used to write, type, key and handle or feel small controls and objects. The employee must frequently talk and hear. Weights of up to 50 pounds are occasionally lifted. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the warehouse or jobsite environment may be moderately loud.
