Required Experience:

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience providing front end AV/VTC support to include managing, deploying, and troubleshooting AV/VTC equipment.
Must posses skills and knowledge capable of operating AV/VTC systems. Experience with other alternative video conference technologies and services such as Zoom, MS Teams, Skype, etc. is a plus, but not required.
The Certified Technical Specialist (CTS) certification will count as 1 year of experience but is not required.


Position Duties:

Responsible for supporting front end AV/VTC system, proactively managing equipment in meeting rooms, Auditoriums, and Multipurpose rooms.
Fields and resolves user questions regarding the usage of AV/VTC equipment or collaboration tools such as WebEx.
Performs minor repairs and routine cleaning of audio and video equipment. Responsible for daily rooms checks for functionality and report non-functioning hardware to the Av Engineering team.
AV Tech 1 is a back-up technician for large events as an audio and camera operator.
