We are seeking an experienced Senior AV Technician to support a Department of Justice (DOJ) customer. In this key role, you will leverage your advanced technical skills to ensure the reliability and functionality of critical audio-visual systems that support DOJ operations. If you are a seasoned AV professional with a strong technical background and a commitment to service excellence, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead AV Technician in supervising and coordinating the AV team.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of AV systems.
- Participate in the installation and upgrade of AV systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
- Provide technical support to DOJ personnel, both remotely and on-site.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and support activities.
- Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of AV systems.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring a four-hour on-site response time as required by the DOJ.
- Participate in a rotating schedule for help desk/call center responsibilities, ensuring 24/7 coverage for the DOJ's AV systems, including occasional after-hours support.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
· 6+ years of experience in AV systems maintenance and support.
· Certification in relevant AV technologies and standards.
· Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
