As a Product Innovation Brand Manager, you will be a key driver of product innovation and brand management strategies, leading efforts to create and enhance products from concept to commercialization. You will oversee the development and execution of innovative marketing initiatives, manage P&L, and ensure the consistent performance of the brand portfolio. This role requires a strategic and creative thinker with proven experience in innovating products, working closely with product development teams, and rebranding existing products to maintain competitive market positioning.

Responsibilities:

1. Brand Strategy, Innovation, and Planning:

  • Develop and implement long-term strategic brand plans, with a strong emphasis on product innovation and the rebranding of existing products to align with evolving market needs.
  • Lead the ideation, development, and launch of new products by collaborating closely with R&D, product development, and product research teams. Drive the process from initial concept through to final commercialization.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product innovation and brand growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and optimize existing products, ensuring they meet the changing demands of consumers and stand out in the marketplace.
  • Oversee the execution of integrated marketing programs, including traditional and digital advertising, pricing strategies, and trade marketing initiatives, to support product launches and rebranding efforts.
  • Partner with the sales force to ensure successful execution of key programs and alignment with strategic brand guidelines.
  • Lead the management of merchandising and point-of-purchase projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with brand objectives.
  • Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of innovation initiatives and brand strategies, and use these insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with budgetary and regulatory requirements throughout the product innovation and branding process.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges to achieve brand and innovation goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Brand Manager or in a related marketing role, with significant experience in product innovation, development, and branding within the CPG industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate products, work collaboratively with product development teams, and manage the entire product lifecycle from concept creation to market launch.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions that inform product innovation and branding strategies.
  • Resourceful and creative thinker with a track record of successfully rebranding and revitalizing existing products.
  • Experience in managing complex digital marketing ecosystems is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and driving innovation simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using consumption data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI), marketing software, and Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel.
