BigFoot Staffing is proud to partner with a leading company in the compressed air industry to recruit a dynamic and experienced Team Manager. Our client is dedicated to delivering top-notch products and services, and they are looking for a motivated individual to lead their inside and outside sales teams within the branch's territory.
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will oversee and manage both inside and outside sales teams to drive revenue growth and market share for all product lines within the branch's territory.
Essential Job Duties:
- Develop a comprehensive business plan to ensure revenue growth across all product lines.
- Collaborate with sales personnel to devise strategies that enhance market share.
- Conduct weekly quote log and Hot List reviews with outside sales representatives.
- Meet with sales team members monthly to review year-to-date performance against goals.
- Assist sales representatives in building personal relationships and rapport with customers, including conducting joint sales calls and Lunch & Learn presentations.
- Perform duties as an outside sales representative to secure additional business and achieve sales targets.
- Negotiate pricing and discounts in consultation with the outside sales team.
- Schedule and conduct performance reviews for all branch sales personnel.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, practices, and procedures by all sales personnel.
- Lead regular sales meetings with a focus on sales strategies and product training.
Additional Job Duties:
- Assist the Branch Manager with vendor opportunity reporting.
- Serve as the liaison between branch and corporate personnel, providing updates on sales opportunities.
- Play a key role in the recruitment and training of new sales team members.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in engineering, marketing, or business studies is preferred, or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills to effectively manage business transactions and customer interactions.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license, free of violations and convictions, and be willing to travel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
