SharePoint Application Administrator

MUST:
Eligible for a Top Secret clearance
Current Public Trust or Active Secret clearance
Experienced SharePoint Application Administrator
5+ years of SharePoint systems administration experience
3+ years of Windows Server administration and application hosting
Proficiency in administering, patching, configuring, installing and managing SharePoint farms and SharePoint servers
Proficient in Scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash
Understanding of server infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and IIS (Internet Information Services) configuration, which are foundational to SharePoint deployment
Hands-on experience in applying third party licenses to Farm
Hands-on experience monitoring the server health and overall server infrastructure
Demonstrated experience reviewing error logs, correlating error IDs, and implementing corrective actions
Experience with systems integration and automation is desired
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong customer server skills
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (Required within 6 months)
Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator (Preferred)
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or similar certification (Preferred)
Bachelor s Degree

DUTIES:
Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
Document and track changes to SharePoint configurations and server environments
Manage and support our backend SharePoint environment and handle systems administration responsibilities within our Windows and Linux application hosting environment
Administer and maintain SharePoint Server or SharePoint Online environments, ensuring they run efficiently and securely
Apply updates, patches, and configuration changes as needed to maintain optimal performance
Monitor SharePoint performance, including database performance, and perform optimizations as necessary
Ensure data integrity through effective backup and recovery solutions
Deploy and manage applications on Windows servers, ensuring they are properly configured and optimized
Monitor application performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and reliability
