Position: SharePoint Application Developer

Location: Washington, DC / Hybrid

Qualifications Required:

- Active Public Trust or eligible for DoD Secret clearance for Top Secret
- Minimum of 6 years in SharePoint web development and design
- Proficient in C# and .NET development
- Experience with relational databases, particularly SQL Server, for application development and data management
- Skilled in creating and deploying custom web parts and applications using SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Familiar with Microsoft tools such as Office 365, PowerApps, and Power Automate
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint frameworks and WSS (2.0 and 3.0), both on-premises and in Office 365
- Experience in designing and maintaining database schemas and server-side applications
- Knowledge of Windows PowerShell is advantageous
- Expertise in customizing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows using SharePoint Designer and other tools
- Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
- Strong background in web development languages including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of 508 compliance requirements
- Ability to gather requirements and act as a business analyst to enhance reporting and tools for clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of collaborating effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities
- Willingness to pursue Scrum Master certification post-hire
- Bachelor's Degree is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide SQL programming and database administration support to optimize reporting for government clients
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of database schemas and server-side applications
- Support record management and archive management systems
- Demonstrate professional experience in analytical roles with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server
- Establish a consistent UI design framework; create storyboards, wireframes, and visual prototypes
- Develop strategies for performance tuning and maintain performance metrics
- Transform approved designs into high-quality, user-centric, 508 compliant websites
- Build responsive web design websites
- Facilitate the integration of SharePoint with other enterprise systems and third-party applications
