What You'll Do:

Manage an assigned book of regional and core business, developing relationships and growing these accounts against annual budgeted revenue and margin targets.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
Improve business earnings and cash flow through price implementation, cost reduction, volume mix change, and control of slow-moving inventory and receivables.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
Monitor industry activities and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
Conduct monthly and year-end sales forecasts, control SGA budgets, develop sales plans, and generate customer and market share reports.
Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and product offerings.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on account status and performance.
