JR Automation is searching for an experienced Account Manager to join our team
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationship with (potential) customers.
- Generate purchase orders to meet or exceed annual goal.
- Continually contact prospective customers based on leads from business directories or other sources.
- Maintain & submit appropriate records for forecasting, quote status & expenses.
- Assist Applications Engineers as needed in developing solutions to the customer's needs.
- Support all aspects sales and marketing for geographic territory
- Market research in geographic area
- Industry trends
- Geographic market understanding
- Competitive landscape
- Niche opportunity identification
- Support lead generation activities
- Value proposition development and communication
- Support marketing efforts

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of previous sales and new business development experience.
- Possess a winning and creative approach to work when identifying customer solutions.
- Proven ability to continually grow and develop accounts based on leads from customer stakeholders and prospecting within other divisions of their organization.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time. Remainder of time is home based.
