Position Summary

Dan Laun, General Manager for testing solutions at Perforce is searching for a Vice President of sales to join the team. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead our global sales force for our Testing business unit.

Responsibilities
  • Build the company’s sales culture and processes to consistently deliver new and renewal bookings goals while maintaining a fun and collaborative environment.
  • Coach and mentor both front line sales leaders and high potential individual contributors to become the best version of themselves.
  • Develop & execute sales strategies for the largest sales opportunities and for large account growth.
  • Ensure that the team has the knowledge, skills and developmental plans to overachieve in their assigned quotas.
  • Ensure that all sales opportunities are accurately recorded and maintained in Salesforce.com to enable accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasts.
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs.
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
  • Travel when appropriate for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.
Requirements
  • MS/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred.
  • 10+ years Enterprise technology sales experience or a minimum of 5 years in Testing sector.
  • Successful experience managing and closing both large scale 6-7 figure complex software/services deals and high velocity land/expand orders.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing sales organizations with greater than 10 FTEs, including quota-carrying and sales engineering roles.
  • Successful experience hiring and on-boarding sales representatives and front-line managers.
  • Proven client relationship skills including understanding a client’s strategic objectives and both short and long business requirements.
  • Ideally have working knowledge of Meddpicc.
