Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Payroll Specialist. This role is currently remote but will become hybrid in their Culver City office. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $95,000 per year.

Job Description:
  • Responsible for the US timekeeping function and work with managers to resolve time sheet exceptions by the established approval deadline
  • Participate in ongoing maintenance of time and pay data
  • Balance workload on a per pay period basis and adjust tasks as necessary
  • Support compliance with federal/state/local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices

Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG)
  • Ability to be reliable and collaborative team member of the payroll team.
  • Ability to maintain trust, confidence, and effective working relationships
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 8 years' relevant experience
