Job Summary

The Automotive Detailer at Lexus of Wayzata is an individual contributor role that provides high quality detailing services for vehicles sold and serviced by the dealership. The Detailer will clean the interior and exterior of vehicles in preparation for sale as well as perform regularly scheduled maintenance services. This job requires close attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and experience driving cars.

Hours. Evenings 12:00pm to 8pm and Saturdays.

Compensation & Benefits

The Automotive Detailer will receive competitive hourly wages and qualified benefit offerings that include medical, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance, vacation, paid holidays, 401(k), and the Lexus of Wayzata Family Discount Program.

Responsibilities

* Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles in preparation for sale
* Vacuum, shampoo, clean, condition, and detail interiors of vehicles
* Perform light vehicle maintenance and repairs as needed
* Remove grease and tar from exterior of vehicles
* Maintain a clean work area
* Assist in the stocking of vehicle supplies
* Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

* High School degree or equivalent
* Prior experience detailing/washing cars
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and bend, stretch, and stand for long periods of time
* Good communication skills
* Attention to detail is a must
