Brockton is a small community of approximately 250 people located in northeast Montana and on the east end of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Indian Reservation. The Class C school district consists of one K-12 building and has an enrollment of roughly 150 students 97% of whom are Native American.

We are looking to hire a District Business Manager/Clerk for the 2024-2025 school year. The position will work under the guidance of the Board of Trustees and  be responsible for working with and advising the Superintendent on the District Budget, attending all Board Meetings, and keeping an accurate and permanent record (minutes) of all proceedings, keeping an accurate and detailed accounting record of all receipts and expenditures of the District, and preparing the annual trustee's report (other duties as assigned). A full-time Assistant Clerk is already on staff and will help the Business Manager with payroll, bills, and other duties as assigned. 

Must be proficient in book keeping and/or accounting, detial oriented, dependable, and computer literate.

Salary will be competitive and be determined on experience and education. Health insurance will be available for this position.
